Eric Shook is an award-winning actor and independent filmmaker/director. He has been making films for over 40 years, drawing on an extensive background in filmmaking and the acting arts. Throughout his long career, Shook has won personal acting and filmmaking awards. He has five finished feature films to his credit, with two more currently in production.Born in Illinois, he is the son of James Edward Shook and the youngest of three children. Eric earned an Associate of Arts degree from Oakton Community College and an Associate in Applied Science in aircraft systems from the Community College of the Air Force. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the State of New York and is a licensed pilot.Mr. Shook served honorably in the United States Army with the 194th Armored Brigade, the 73rd Armor Regiment, and the 37th Armored Regiment. He later transferred to the United States Air Force, where he served with the Strategic Air Command until it was dismantled and was subsequently assigned to the Air Mobility Command. He is also a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Currently, Eric works in law enforcement for the United States Department of Defense.
